How to get there:

You have different options to reach Sentosa , by road, Cable car or Monorail

Take the MRT to Habour Front Station
From there you have different options :

Cable Car

3-5 min walk from the MRT station is the Habour Front Cable Car station
Tickets cost around S$ 35 per adult which are valid the whole day. So you can take the cable car to the island and on the island as well, and back and forth as much as you want. The view was worse the money.

Vivocity/ Monorail

The Monorail station is also close to the Habour Front MRT station
If you are on a budget or just don’t like cable cars at all take the Monorail to the island. The best part is its Free to use , at least until 31 March 2022 (date was mentioned at the station, so don’t make me reliable if they will change it 🙂 )

Walk / Car / Taxi

Since the island is connect via a bridge, you will see a lot of people coming with a car or bicycle. Its a short distance so you can easily walk it as well.

What to do on the island

You can easily spend the whole day exploring the island or just enjoying the nice beach and bars 🙂

Enjoy The Beach 🙂

This would be my first answer
After 4 days walking through Singapore, I just wanted to relax and enjoy a nice day on the beach including some nice food and drinks in the restaurant of course
Most of the beach part is a public beach, if you did not bring a towel there are also places where you can rent one

Adventure Parks & Other Activities

There are quite a few adventure parks and other activities on the island
If you are visit some of the parks or do some of the activities, better plan in advance and be there in the morning as most of those parks and activities are getting busy from 11am onward, especially during the weekends

On the island itself you have the chance to buy a ‘FUN Pass” which is basically a paid bundle of activities and it ends up being cheaper than if you pay all the activities separately.
Fun pass starting from S$ 60 per person ( child / adult ) and after that you can top it up in blocks of 5 later on

• Universal Studios Singapore
• Adventure Cove Waterpark
• S.E.A. Aquarium
• Dolphine Island
• Sentosa 4D Adentureland
• I – Fly Singapore
• Wings of Time
• Madame Tussauds
• Sky Helix

Walking / Hiking/ Cycling

On the island you can also enjoy some nice walks / hikes

You have different options :

• Beachwalk which is about 3 km (one way)

• Silosa Point walk via the Skywalk towards Fort Siloso

Its a nice walk, sometimes it got a bit confusing and I didn’t know in which direction I need to go, even through they have all those signs, but ow well in the end I found my way. So maybe its better to get a map .. just in case .
During this walk you will see not only nature but also a lot of things related to WWII, kind of a walking museum, which was really interesting.

• Mt. Imbiah Nature trail ( 1.1 km )
• Coastal trail ( 1 Km)

Most of the trails you can walk or even explore with a bicycle (which you can rent there on the island). The trails are interconnecting so you can explore all with one nice ride / walk.

Mount Faber

If you are into hiking / walking I would suggest you to go to Mount Faber.

I did explore Mount Faber before I went to Sentosea.
As the cable car was already included for the whole day, I decided to make my first stop from the Habour station to Mount Faber, not knowing what will expect me there… and I was surprised as there is definitely a lot to explore. Since I wanted to go to Sentosa I didnt have a lot of time, so I only did a short round, but if you have more time or even have an extra day and do not know what to do .. go for a walk there, enjoy the nice view and the walks through the “jungle “ . It looks like a perfect spot for exercise in the nature, also for jogging and cycling.

There are different short hiking trails which basically all connect :

• Marang Trail – 0.8 km
Trail from the Harbour Front MRT Station too Mount Faber

• Faber Walk – 1 km
Walk through Faber Park – connects directly to the Henderson Waves

• Walk to the Henderson Waves – 300 m
Highest pedestrian Bridge in Singapore

• Hilltop Walk – 1km
Goes to Telok Blangah Hill Park

• Forest Walk – 1.3 km
Leads to Alexandra Arch ( Bridge)

• Floral & Hort Park – 1.4 km
